HMS QUEEN ELIZABETH 1/700

Well here is the finished model. I'm not 100% satisfied with the finish of the crystal resin in certain areas but it's something I'll know for next time. Hope you enjoy the photographs!

I've now added the liquid crystal resin to my display base. Need to wait for it to dry now

HMS Queen Elizabeth 1/700

On this build I have purchased some 1/700 scale sailors, in order to see what they look like. As you can see I've added some onto the decks, and I like them. They are very cool!

Force Z project

For those of you in the know, you will know Force "Z" as the task force sent to Singapore by the Royal Navy in late 1941, consisting of the battleship HMS Prince of Wales and the battle cruiser HMS Repulse. They were accompanied by 4 destroyers. However, only 3 destroyers will fit on the diorama. J

Force Z Project

I will be kicking off the blog with my Force Z project. As you can see, the ships are already built.
